Create your free Pawdex, then from your dashboard tap "Add a pet." Walk through the 3-step wizard — name and species, photo and details, then vaccination records. Your pet gets a unique PDX code and QR passport instantly.

It opens your pet's public passport — name, photo, breed, microchip number, vaccination history with expiry dates, and your contact details (plus an emergency contact if you've added one).

Your first pet's passport is free, forever. Pawdex Pro (₱299/year) unlocks unlimited pets, the full Vax Vault with photo uploads, renewal reminders, Lost Mode, and the printable Lost Pet Flyer. Pawdex Pro+ (₱599/year) adds Paw Vault OCR — snap a photo of any paper vet record and Pawdex auto-extracts the data into a searchable timeline.

From your pet's Hub page, tap "Lost Pet Flyer." Pawdex generates a printable poster with your pet's photo, last-seen details, your contact info, an emergency contact, and the QR code that leads to the full passport. Print it or share it on Facebook.

On your pet's profile, tap "Is [Pet] lost?" and confirm. Pawdex flips your pet to Lost Mode — the passport gets a red LOST banner, your pet appears on mypawdex.com/find-lost-pets so the community can help, and every time someone scans the QR you get an email with the city it was scanned from (rate-limited to 1 per hour, up to 5 per day). When your pet is home, tap "Mark as Found" and everything reverts. Lost Mode is included in Pawdex Pro.

Tell them to visit Pawdex and tap "I run a pet shop · vet · groomer." They'll go through business onboarding — pick a business type, claim a slug like mypawdex.com/their-shop, set their pricing, and start receiving bookings.

Your account credentials are private. Vet-only clinical notes are private to that clinic. But your pet's passport (the QR page) is intentionally public so anyone who finds your pet or needs to verify compliance can reach you.

Go to My Pawdex → My Bookings → tap the booking → Cancel. You'll be asked for a reason, and the business gets notified by email immediately.

Pawdex is built first for Filipino pet parents and PH-based pet businesses. The platform works anywhere, but features (compliance badges, currency, language) are tuned for the Philippines for now.
